Release notes for the DriveSync Mac app, newest first. Updates are free for the lifetime of the app.

Changes to the underlying command-line tool are tracked separately in the dsync releases.

First release.

• Push, pull and compare, each in its own window, each showing the full plan before anything moves. Compare is read-only.
• A plan you can read. Every row carries its path, its size and the reason it is in the list: the local file is newer, only on Google Drive, both sides changed, and so on.
• Deletions behind two gates. Trash missing is off by default, lists every deletion in red before the run, asks again, and skips them all if a transfer fails. Files go to the Drive trash or the macOS Trash.
• Failures in Google's words. A refused file shows what Google said rather than "failed", keeps the machine-readable reason, and stays visible in Settings after the window closes.
• Live progress. Bytes against the plan's total, a percentage per file, and per-row status as the run proceeds.
• A setup wizard that walks through pairing a folder, supplying your own Google OAuth client, and authorizing, then checks the connection before it calls itself done.
• Connection checks on demand from Settings: confirms the folder, refreshes the token, and names the Google account.
• Finder-grade row menu. Open a file in Finder, open it at its exact address on Drive, or copy its path.
• Eleven languages. English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, Português (Brasil), Română, 简体中文 and Svenska, following your macOS system language.
• Built on dsync 0.6.0, bundled inside the app. Universal for Apple silicon and Intel; requires macOS 14 or later.
