Common questions
Can DriveSync replace an always-on sync client?
Only if you want to start transfers yourself. DriveSync’s Mac app runs on demand. It does not automatically keep folders updated when you change a file.
Can I use DriveSync with OneDrive or Dropbox?
No. DriveSync is built for Google Drive folders under My Drive. It does not support other cloud providers or Shared Drives.
Can I try DriveSync before buying the Mac app?
Yes. The free dsync CLI uses the same engine. You can test the workflow with your files, then add the existing folder to the Mac app without repeating its pairing and authorization.
