Cloudflare

Google Workspace

We use Google Workspace for our internal business operations and to communicate with you. When you interact with us, your information may be processed through the following Google services:

• Gmail: Email communications with you are processed and stored through Gmail.

• Google Docs: Documentation related to your inquiries or projects may be created and stored in Google Docs.
• Google Drive: Files and documents related to our communications may be stored in Google Drive.

All Google Workspace services are subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Google Workspace provides standard security and compliance features that help protect your data while it's in their hands.

GitHub

We use GitHub for public issue tracking and discussions related to our open-source projects and products. Anything you post in our public GitHub repositories is, by nature, public. GitHub's handling of your data is governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Payments (Polar.sh)

We provide paid products and Services. For these, we use Polar (Polar Software Inc., operating polar.sh) as our Merchant of Record. As Merchant of Record, Polar acts as the reseller of our paid apps and handles checkout, payment processing, billing, subscription management, invoicing, and the calculation and remittance of applicable sales tax and VAT. Purchases made through app-store billing systems (such as Apple's App Store) are instead handled by the relevant platform.

We do not store or collect your payment card details ourselves. That information is provided directly to Polar and its underlying payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their own privacy policies. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council - a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover - which help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

We may receive limited information from Polar (such as your name, email address, billing country, the last four digits of your card, licence keys, and transaction status) in order to fulfil orders, deliver and license our apps, provide support, issue receipts, prevent fraud, meet our accounting and tax obligations, and send product-related communications as described in this Privacy Policy.

We may use email addresses received from Polar to send important product updates, release announcements, security advisories, and information about related ScaleNinja products. Receipt, purchase-delivery, support, licence, and security messages may be sent as transactional or relationship communications. Marketing emails will include a way to opt out, and we will honor opt-out requests as required by applicable law.

Service providers generally

The third parties above, and any other service providers we engage, have access to your personal information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
